5 Tips for Email Marketing – MightyCall

[MUSIC] Hey everyone,
it’s Natalie again with MightyCall. And today I’ll be talking
about email marketing. Emails can either be constructive
tools for business growth and increasing website traffic, or it can be
something that deters people from engaging with your company,
depending on the way you use it. Here are five mistakes
you should not make. Number one, having a weak subject line. The subject line falls right next to
the firm name in someone’s Inbox. In order to make a strong subject line, make it something that would
grab the reader’s attention. For instance, user name or
pose a question to be interested in. Number two,
starting with a bad first sentence. Make your opening e-mail sentence good. It should grab their attention and make them want to keep reading
on in order to find out more. Number three, including broken links or
links that can’t be tracked. Always double check your links. If they aren’t working, the e-mail is
pointless because nobody can click through to your content and
find out more information. You also need some kind of feedback
on how your links are doing. Without link tracking,
you will have no idea if the links you are actually sending out get clicked on or
not. The point of your email is to pique
interest, so do exactly that, and then carry them to your website for
more information with a link. Finally, failing to preview your emails. Make sure your email format is perfect and
all links are working. You don’t wanna find out links are broken
after you’ve sent it to a thousand prospects. There you have it, thanks for watching and be sure to use #MightyCall
to ask us anything. Bye. [MUSIC]
