6 Core Strategies for Making Money on YouTube with Affiliate Marketing

6 Core Strategies for Making Money on YouTube with Affiliate Marketing

  1. #ChallengeTheBuild is all about working on projects that make you say "you're gonna do what?" or challenge the phrase "I wouldn't do it that way"…( fabrication, welding, cars, trucks, boats, ect. )

  2. Thank you so much for all the tips.^^
Anyone who is interested in Japanese or Chinese, please come visit my channel.💕

  3. Thank you so much for all the tips.^^
Anyone who is interested in Japanese or Chinese, Please come visit me.^^

  4. Thank Sean, I'm in the gaming nich (Minecraft in paticular) I've had a few channeps in the past, but I haven't really gotten into them, or they just failed dramatically. So I'm trying to fully set up this channel before I post.

  5. Thank you so much for the tips and for the free class…Im in cooking niche and I really love what Im doing, but still struggling in views..

  6. Notification squad:

My YouTube channel is about a life of a single mother who works 40 hours a week while going to school. In stead of posting every day I'm posting once a week with my main episode from Life as a single mother. And then I'm posting smaller videos like planning and class assignment videos.

  7. My YouTube channel is a very unique niche. It’s all about a very very rare chromosome disorder that both myself and my daughter have,15Q11.2 AKA Burnside-Butler syndrome. It is also inclusive of the comorbid conditions (eg my daughter also has Dysmorphia, autism, extreme anxiety, selective mutism, learning disability, Childhood Disintegration Disorder (AKA Dementia Infintalis), as well as sensory processing disorder.

There are only a few thousand on the planet with the genetic condition, but it is likely that she is the only one of those with this combination of conditions.

Medical expertise in this area of genetic deletion is slim to non, and accessing the little bit of information is almost impossible for many due to the scant availability, and when it is available it’s shrouded in academic medical jargon that then makes it not accessible to many. I try to uncover the research, and deliver it in such a way that it removes technical jargon and leaves a base level of understanding . I have only a few video’s on the channel, and as you would expect very few subscribers and views. This is not for profit in any way what so ever, so any guidance that you may have for me would be much appreciated.

My day job is an online teacher of mathematics for a large private school with an international cohort of students. All lessons are live, and recorded, so a little like making YouTube videos but without the opportunity to go back, watch, or edit in any way (can be stressful and is not for those easily daunted).

But as I said if you can spare any time to look over the channel, or indeed the website (I’ll post a link below) with the understanding that I’m a single dad, working full time, with a disabled child, and limited income, I would hugely appreciate it.

    Kindest regards
Darren a Coleman from a very rainy wet North Yorkshire (UK)

  8. Great video! I have a channel all about solving everyday problems with plant based solutions like CBD and Moringa! 🌱

  9. I teach guitar and do product reviews for musicians.😁👊
Question… I would like to maximize this next Black Friday by live streaming with affiliate links… Could you possibly do a video about how you do it? You're AWESOME! Thanks!😃👊

  10. All I can say is thanks. You do an incredible job guiding us to success!

I am focusing on tech tutorials and reviews with an emphasis on covering the common tech gap so many people have. (My family inspired me because I kept getting asked the same thing over and over again by them. Figured I'd document it!)

  11. I'm trying to make my channel a gaming stream to play better but make peoples happy but not having enough money to save to buy equipment

  12. We're making video's about the journey to the end of animal slavery in the Dutch language with a lot of humor🤗 Doubting whether we should film in English or stay Dutchies.

  13. Great advice. I post tips on baseball training and workouts and have seen great growth in the last 6 months when I started.

  14. YouTube is one of the most powerful ways to make money with affiliate marketing, do it right and you can make a 6-figure income doing it with a small following. It’s possible, I’m doing it

  15. Amazing. I feel like kicking my sefl. I started my Chanel 11years ago when nobody was doing it and was never serious and was all over the place. Did not know about affiliate marketing but now I do. I could have done so many things since but did not. Recently I started my Amazon affiliate account and already made $3.5, not much at all but it's a start. Thank you for all your videos. I understand I have to niche down and will do well. Thank you again.

  16. I posted my first video yesterday called How NOT to start a Youtube channel. I look forward to making proper videos like this in the near future thanks for the tips!
    P.S dig the sweater

  17. When I first started my channel I got excited about affiliate marketing specifically through Amazon but after my initial trial they discontinued my account since my channel wasn't big enough. How big does my channel need to be before I should try for it again? My channel focuses on giving practical and accurate medical information for your home and family so you can make better health decisions. Thanks, love your tips!!

  18. Your videos were instrumental in making me believe that I could learn to make the videos I wanted to make. With very limited resources, and no previous experience in videography or film, I thought YouTube was never going to be possible for me. Yet I had this burning desire to make videos for my grandchildren to know me by. You showed me how it could be done and helped giving me the confidence to get in front of the camera!

I'm so glad I found your channel when I did because I had just about given up by then what with all the fancy YouTubers talking about "must have gear" that cost a fortune and seemed far too complicated to use anyway. Thanks to your (and Benji's) input, not only have I been making videos for the grandkids, but I've also started to make videos with my grandson (who's 6 🙂). On top of that, I've discovered that I really like making videos, so now I am considering turning my vast teaching resource archive into educational videos and maybe even making a series about excuses and disability. 🤗

None of this would have been possible without the early encouragement and ongoing support your channels are providing for people like me who "just" want to (learn to) make better videos. Thank you!

  19. Hey Sean man you've been changing my life. I wish I had the cash to join VRA. I MAKE 750 EVERY 2 weeks at my current job and I know I can do that through online video easy. I just need some coaching I feel. I will Join VRA one day! No matter what it takes! I want to live a life of purpose passion and fulfillment. My channel is about finding happiness through spirituality and positive psychology. Also my other channel is CLCPAINT where I do tips and Techniques for people new to landscape oil painting. Thanks again Sean

  23. Loved the video Sean! I am in the food review niche and am doing both restaurants and limited time food products. I’m not sure how I will turn what I do into a business, but I love doing it currently and that’s all I can ask for.

  30. I AM SORRY BUT I NEED TO POST THIS PLEASE READ. I have swifted from YouTube to Intagram and Pinterest as my main platform because well.. it was easier doing it entirely alone. I am based in a country where enterpreneurship spirit does not really exist and I don't think it will be visiting us here anytime soon for Christmas! (Athens, Greece by the way)😋😋😋 Especially if you are woman. I am trying to make money by selling some clothes as an ambassador for brands. The thing is that the companies that I want to collaborate with mostly use PayPal for their transactions and I have asked in banks that are here in Greece and they did not provide any information at all! I mostly want to collaborate with American companies with worldwide shipping. The result is that I cannot even buy the products online! I couldn't even participate to free giveaways of clothes that I liked. Can you believe it? Could you make a video regarding financial details? Noone provides me with information. .Thank you in advance.

  31. My channel is all about ice hockey goaltending and hockey specific videos that are great for young and older goaltenders, as well as mainstream hockey. A lot of what I do and the success thanks to you Sean! Thank you for all the awesome tips.

  32. Thanks for sharing your tips Sean! Affiliate marketing is frown upon within the game dev community due to bad practices and I intend to change that by providing useful and genuine recommendations through tutorials & reviews.

  33. This was great! Im trying to help promote some music talent, they need hep i mean hep with getting the word out. Check out this HOTT New music video dropped on youtube by deezy da paperboy ft jayy wills & cornbread217 "Angels"

  34. So we are running into entire communities, nearly all of them, claiming that YouTube is targeting their channels for demonetization. Are you aware of any troubles YouTube itself might be having that would account for such a massive cutback?

  35. Hey Sean, love your work! My niche is teaching tech to the people who are nervous around it. Ido a lot of hand-holding step by step tutorials to empower those people (usually over 40) who didn't grow up with technology.

  36. Great tips as always, really appreciate these videos. I'm a small channel and I've made $3k on YouTube my first year using your tips 👊

  37. My channel is about all aspects of filmmaking and gear reviews. Talking about shooting, editing, and some advanced things for creating videos. At least that’s my goal, I just started my channel and am trying to get consistent with it.

  38. I'm starting a Magic channel. My target market is people that are interested in magic as a hobby and not people that want to become full time professional magicians.

  39. Thanks Sean for always sharing great tips for relatively small youtubers like me. I've been subscribing to your channel for years now, and I'm actually one of your VRA students! I finally started my channel about a month ago. I think it's doing great so far 🙂 I review each steps almost everyday and the course has really helped me a lot! Thank you!

  40. Thank you for what you are doing. You got me to first take action. Now we are loading lots of music content. Then we will go back and add the marketing. You rock man. If anyone cares to listen to some light music please give us a look.

  41. I've asked this question before, and no one seemed to answer. Hopefully someone will be able to answer this time. Does one need to be part of the YPP (YouTube Partner Program) to post affiliate links? Because I tried to post an affiliate link to one of my YouTube videos and the video was taken down shortly after.

  42. Another awesome video!! I’m just at the beginning of my YouTube journey- I have an artist channel all about how to live a happy, creative life! Excited to be here!

  43. Sean………I'm in the teaching/information sharing niche, but my efforts are getting off to a very slow start. (although I know you say that this happens) Using some affiliate links, but I don't think anyone is seeing them yet. Thanks for your great content.

  44. Hello Sean!!! Keep bringing the jewels sir they are so helpful highly valued. Continue sharing your valuable experiences with the world!

  45. Great video! I'm just starting out with Affiliate marketing, pretty much making a solid $40 a month now. Not sure if you noticed the glitch in this video? Check it out from 5:45 to 5:50, your video is on the fritz, I saw this in another one of your videos. I noticed some weird stuff publishing with my Adobe Premiere Pro, I had a 'blip' in the beginning of the video. Turns out it was one frame of a full screen text box that I showed at the end of the video, just randomly appeared in one frame full screen at the beginning. I exported the video a second time and it went away, just a glitch in the software…

  46. NICHE: Skis / Skiing / Snowboarding / Snowboards / Gear / Destination Tourism >> Amazon Affiliates vs. Direct Manufacture. (+/- upsides to each..? downsides to each) CHEERS & thanks in advance. S.

  47. In this day and age you definitely have to take advantage of every (legal) way to make money as best as possible. I'm sure doing this will greatly help me and my little motorcycling niche.
Bike/motovlogs are my things and I'm trying to Introduce as many people like (YOU) into the bike realm. Caribbean (Jamaican) 🇯🇲 based.
