Gmail Compose and Send Email


While you can communicate with your teachers
by sending a message through the online classroom, you can also send an email directly through
Gmail. To compose an email, make sure that you are
logged into your Google account. Start the process by visiting www.google.com. Then click
on the Google Apps Board and select Gmail. Next, click on Compose. In the New Message window, start typing your
teacher’s name in the To field. Please make sure that you select the email address that
ends @stancoe.org. Your teacher will not receive messages sent to @rubix.stancoe.org. If you would like to send a message to more
than one person, you can click the Carbon Copy button and add additional recipients
for your email. To send the email, click on the blue Send
button in the bottom left corner. If you would like to review any email that you sent, you
can click on the Sent Mail folder.
