How!? How can you choose a Digital Marketing Agency that doesn’t suck and provides real results for your business? It’s difficult I get it. However, there’s a number of key things that you can do before you choose a Digital Marketing Agency to ensure that they provide the best results for your business and to ensure you avoid ‘Dodgy Digital Marketers’, ‘£99 per calendar month SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, if you need it come to me. Gotta go, so busy. [Cool Music] The reason it’s difficult to choose a Digital Marketing Agency is because Digital Marketing is selling a promise, it’s selling trust, it’s not selling anything tangible. However, we put this question out to our audience last week and we got some really great tips and advice from some really clever people and we’ve put this together in an article which is linked up somewhere around this video which you’ve got to have a look at. There’s so many great tips and advice in there that it’s well worth reading before you choose a Digital Marketing Agency. In this video I want to share three of my favorite tips. First of all have a basic understanding of Digital Marketing. If you don’t have a basic understanding, it’s difficult to know what is good Digital Marketing and what isn’t. What I’d advise you to do is go onto Google, do some searches around Digital Marketing and actually read up about it. There’s some great resources that you can look at as well to learn about Digital Marketing basics including Social Media Examiner, Content Marketing Institute, Digital Marketer, Buffer’s blog, Hootsuite’s blog, KISSmetrics, there’s so many, just go out there and have a look, have a look at some of those that I mentioned. The second key point, and this is a big, big giveaway is to have a look at how the Digital Marketing Agency is marketing themselves. Have a look at their social media if they offer it as a service. What’s the quality of the content they are posting? How much engagement are they getting? How big is their audience? Have a look at all of these elements to see how they are doing in terms of marketing themselves online. If they offer content creation, have a look at how they’re doing there. If they offer website design, look at their website to see if it’s any good. The third point is so, so crucial and it’s to actually look at the work they’ve done before and the results that they have achieved. Look at their case studies, look at their testimonials. However, one extra little nugget you can do is to actually speak to their previous clients. Look at their clients page, ring them up and actually ask them, what was it like to work with this Agency? What results did they help them achieve? Do some snooping. Trust me it’s SO worth it. I hope you’ve enjoyed these tips and if you’re watching this on social media please give us a like, a follow or if you’re on YouTube please subscribe and make sure you check out that article to ensure you don’t work with a shoddy Digital Marketing Agency.
