How To Prepare For Client Appreciation Events The Week Of The Event

Don’t say that (bleep) on the phone, or I’ll fire you, for real. (agents laugh) Just have a basic conversation with somebody, please. It’s all about just connecting. That’s all it is. [Kyle] All right, we’ll
touch on events really quick. Our biggest event of
the year is coming up, this Sunday night from four
o’clock to seven o’clock. We have emails and stuff going out to clients for you guys, just to make sure that everybody knows about it, so we’re inviting everybody who’s in your data base as hot, pending, or closed is who we’re hitting. Just so you guys know. There’s three, two or three emails that are going out to everybody, we just want to make sure that we maximize the
attendance at this event. What I recommend that all of you guys do, is just essentially take the post that I put up, take the image from it, and then just make it your own. The graphic that’s in the post is essentially the same graphic that’s going out in the email. Two. [Man] We just had Liz do one, so you got to… [Kyle] Nickie or Liz, eh close enough. -I would take the image,
-(woman chuckles) pull it up real quick. Take this image that’s on my page, and throw it up on your
social media posts. And then if you guys have done your lists, make sure it’s going
to all the right lists and everything, but. Put this up, put your own spin on it. And then it’ll drive people to the page. It’ll track who they RSVP’d through, all of that fun stuff. [Man] Sorry. You can just take this one, no? That one’s uncomfortable. I’m going to block everyone. [Man in Glasses] Cody posted
it in the Workplace too. Okay yeah Cody posted it up in Workplace, but get that up today. As soon as this meetings done, I would love for all of you guys to just grab that graphic, throw it up on Insta, throw it up on Facebook. If you’re on TikTok or Snap, or whatever other shit you guys are on. Throw it up on all of those. And then, it’s all about
calling and texting everybody. We’ve got emails handled for you guys. All you’ve got to do is just follow up, and say, “Hey, I want to make sure “you got the invitation “for our party on Sunday night.” Just call it a party. Don’t call it a photos with Santa. ’cause again, if somebody’s not Christian, maybe they’re not into Santa. Just call it a holiday party. It keeps it very open ended. It keeps it good for everybody. But you call, if they don’t answer, leave a voicemail. And then follow up with a text message. The whole goal of this event, I honestly don’t care if anybody shows up on Sunday. It’s not about whether or not they show up on Sunday. It’s just about having this as an excuse to call everybody. And then, just check in with them. And the basic script, if you guys aren’t familiar. You open tellin’ ’em about the event. And then, we’ll find a marker that works. What does F stand for? [Agents] Family. -O?
-[Agents] Occupation. R? [Agents] Recreation. And D? [Man] Great dreams. This is your basic script, right? You guys all like AOM or LPMAMA, or all of those different things. That’s your script when
you’re talking to people. Just ask, “Oh, how’s little Billy doing? “How’s your wife…” All that fun stuff. “How’s everything going with work?” “You guys got any fun trips planned over the holidays?” And then if they’ve mentioned any kind of dreams to you about, dreams or aspirations that
they have in their life. Bring that stuff up. You don’t need to ask for referrals. Just have conversations with people. They will naturally tell you that they have referrals for you. You do not have to hammer
it down their throat. Brian Buffini style, I
know you love Buffini. But don’t hammer down people’s throat. “Hey, by the way, the greatest
compliment I can receive, is you know, the referral
of a friend or family. Don’t say that fuckin’ shit on the phone, or I’ll fire you for real. (agents laugh) Just have a basic conversation with somebody please. It’s all about just connecting. That’s all it is. Just call, text guys. When you call, mention this. When you text, include
that image in the text. “Hey, I want to follow up, “make sure you got the invite “for the party on Sunday.” And then just, run through the same thing. It’s all about fording everybody. Run through that script. It’ll be amazing what happens. If you guys have your database
organized in BoomTown, or kvCore, or Sync, or
whatever you guys are using. Que that entire list up, and rip and just dial everybody in there. But it’s all about connecting with people. This is your excuse to
talk to all of the clients that you haven’t talked to since you sold them a
home a year or two ago. You now have an excuse to talk them. Nobody’s going to hang up on you, when you call and invite them to a party. Just like they don’t when you call and invite ’em to a fun open house. Or when you knock on their door and invite ’em to something. These are all going out. When you’re done, get it up on social. And then just call/text. And you need to do it again this weekend. On Friday, I would plan
on making follow up calls for anybody who hasn’t already RSVP’d. When you get somebody on the phone, or you’re texting with them. Don’t tell them to go to the website. If they say, “Yeah, we’ll be there.” “All right cool, I’ll get you registered. “Who all’s going to be coming?” “Oh, it’ll be me, the
wife, and the two kids.” “Cool, I’ll go ahead and get
you registered for tickets.” Just do it for them. Do not force people to go to the website. They’re not going to. Just do it for them, but then, by them registering, we’ll have their email so
we’ll send them follow ups, and everything ’cause
people need follow ups. The other thing that’s important is, you want to repost this on social again. I would recommend Saturday and or Sunday. The amount of people that RSVP the day of, usually about 30% of the people that show up, RSVP the day of. It’s very, very common. People don’t make plans in advance. They’re very much just kind of drifting in the wind, like, “Ooh okay, that looks cool. “Let’s go do that.” Wait, wait! Before you leave, I want to share some more tips and tricks that we’re using in our business to take it to that next level. -(bubble pops)
