Mailchimp integration allows you to send survey responses to your contacts as list fields, notes, and tags. You can use this data for better segmentation, customizing your campaigns and personalization of your emails. It’s also possible to create new leads in Mailchimp with Survicate contact forms. To enable the integration go to ‘Settings’, ‘Integrations’, find Mailchimp, click authorize. And provide your credentials to to authorize the integration. We enable you to decide which answers will be sent to Mailchimp or update user information on the question level. To setup integration settings, move on to the edit window of your survey. Under each question, you will see Mailchimp integration bar appearing which lets you configure the settings
for every question individually. Tick the box ‘Send answers to this question to Mailchimp’ and pick the list you want to
feed with Survicate data. You can decide to send answers as tags, notes and list fields. Tags are applied to your respondents on their answers. To enable tags, click tags checkbox and define how you’d like to tag the respondents. It’s also possible to apply more
than one tag to each answer. Notes are sent to respondents’ profiles
and contain question and answer. To send responses as list fields,
first chose the list field you want us to send responses to, or create a new one. By default, we send the content of the answer as attribute value, but you can customize this value
to fit your data structure. Similarly, you can create new leads in Mailchimp with Survicate contact forms. To do that, add a contact form question to your survey. Click ‘Send answers to this question to Mailchimp’ and define which fields you’d like to fill the information. In order to create new leads with this form, enable ‘Create new contact in Mailchimp’ tickbox and pick your Mailchimp list. Once you have everything ready,
you can test your setup from Survicate. Click ‘Send sample data’, and ‘Go to Mailchimp profile’ button We will create a demo user, with a random answer activity using your settings.
