We like to say that we’re empowering both parents and sitters to actively choose what they want to do in life. One of our biggest challenges from a marketing perspective is that we’re a two sided marketplace. We built UrbanSitter to help parents and sitters connect efficiently. Help parents find trusted child care in a quick, meaningful way. We are using Mailchimp automations to welcome our parents and educate and onboard them through their first couple of months. And likewise we use automations to introduce sitters to UrbanSitter and let them know what to expect from the platform. We see email as really the driver to conversion that has a significant impact on our revenue as a company. Other parents come up and say UrbanSitter’s my lifesaver. And as a very busy parent myself it has been a very rewarding experience.
