  2. kind of sad that YT took you down to 200K per month… Even amateur like me has 300K now… For me its great but definitely not a good result for master like you

  3. Thank you for this my good sir I just started at affiliate marketing this month. Do you need an email list to be successful in affiliate marketing like with aweber or mailing chimp?

  4. I suck at affiliate marketing. I just signed up and have no clue what Iโ€™m doing…again as per usual…another timely video.

  5. Wow๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘!!! This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY…. Affiliate Marketing = one of the best ways to start making ๐Ÿ’ต online for beginners!! Thanks for the tips Robert

  6. QUESTIONS? So with my niche, as I am sure is true of others, most items are not kosher, even thought they are completely legal and often not regulated at all. What would be the way to work around this issue in your opinion since dropping links in a description and dong that as a call to action is a no go? Currently, I push to alternative sources such as my written reviews, loaded with affiliate links, my website, etc. Is there a better way?

  7. Haven't tried affiliate marketing yet. I'm waiting to grow my channel past 10k subs.

BUT I just hit 1000 subscribers recently – feels really good that hard work is finally paying off ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. THANKS SO MUCH FOR All the great content, your so amazing and have inspired me to start my own channel. have a great day and keep up the good work, iv subscribed also KDTV

  9. How do you become a paid speaker Roberto? I want to go full time and have dished out a lot of time, energy, and money with no luck.

  10. Personal feminine health and wellness is a topic I'm very passionate about and I plan to focus on products that help women to that end. This I will do with an anonymous dropshipping shop that promotes the culture of that niche. On the other hand my personal brand of sexy nerdy girls who love books and healthy food and fashion will be a brand that simply offers people more incite into my lifestyle, but the funny thing is I'm more passionate about the anonymous shop but I need to finish setting up my personal brand as it will make money whenever I'm attached to popular acting projects. Thanks for this great posts @RobertoBlake

  11. Thank you for all of the informative content, Roberto ๐Ÿ‘ I think all can take something from this. I pray that I add value to my supporters by being vulnerable and relatable ๐Ÿ’ž

  12. I have definitely seen big boosts to affiliate sales when I make a relevant video. For example, I made a video talking about a solid 3rd party moderately priced AC adapter for my camera that I found after not having luck with the really cheap ones (the gotcha in this case was that it went out of stock in a week or two and never came back, lol)

  13. Great info Brother! Very easy to understand and straight to the point! Love it! You added some value to me today for sure.

Iโ€™m gonna keep what you said in the back of my mind for all my future content. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

  14. Although this video title may be 'offensive' to some, what you said makes plenty sense. Something I've figured out, which was actually mentioned some time ago when I was involved in a certain online self-employment opportunity, is to never – basically shove links down peoples throats. A simple post/tweet with (a) link(s) is one thing, but to reply to someone and immediately including a link is disrespectful. It's always best to engage in communication first.
Basically, it works the same way online as you said you did your jobs you had years ago.

Something I did notice… in the past you've mentioned to affiliate with companies/products that offer a high affiliate commission, but in this video you mention not getting 10% of the value of what one brings in for a company/business at a job. This is a contradiction. There's really no reason to not affiliate, online, with companies/products that offer a low affiliate commission percentage. It definitely can help to have some higher commissions on individual sales, but there's no reason to stick to a minimum. Higher commissions also mean the product(s) (or service(s)) cost more. Considering a 100% profit to a company/business, a 10% commission on the sale of something that costs $50 is only $5, but to get a 50% commission on the same thing, that product would have to cost $90.

  15. Another great video Roberto! I wish I had half your knowledge. Come on folks, show some gratitude. Hit the ๐Ÿ‘ and a comment.

  16. I want to offer online coaching to my community. My question is the best app or program I should use to set this up? Thanks Roberto

  17. So I got an official Roberto Blake ad before the Roberto Blake video….I have to watch. Pre-video comment. Iโ€™ll be back.
Return after video: I think that Iโ€™ve been learning more and more that one of the keys to sales is to know what convenience (emphasis on that particular word choice) your service is providing. If you can identify that and communicate well to your specific audience, you will probably be more successful in your conversion.

  18. I love how your advice is applicable across so many areas (I'm an artist). I've incorporated so much I've learned from you, and my patreon recently passed $100/month! I started to add more value when I stopped doing things I ASSUMED my audience wanted and started focusing more on my own (and therefore their own) unique perspective. The shift was instant~

  19. I really don't have a clue about affiliate marketing. You are absolutely right. I suck at it. But that is because I don't know what people want or the price they are willing to pay. Like you I spent a lot of time in retail and there, working one on one, I usually had a very satisfied customer. But transferring that to online is like taking a shot in the dark for me. I am a mish mash channel with no real focus except for what I am thinking about today.

  20. Roberto, I agree with everything that you said and thanks for another video! I am not upset with the title. You are telling the TRUTH and you are not sugarcoating it. This approach will help the people who want to improve. I see this everyday when people only want positive feedback and then wonder why they do not have growth in their life.

I will be adding value by giving people quality products and not quantity of products.

  21. Never start a business to make money. Stop chasing money, and start chasing needs – MJ Damarco

Yea brilliant stuff Roberto. This is def something we all fall into as beginners because of the desperation to make money. But hopefully we overcome by growing into the successful person we want to be and being that valuable resource in the marketplace. I add value by creating useful and helpful review vids and tutorials. Thanks for the high value vid man!

  22. You said it absolutely ON POINT!! Adding value to the audience before worrying about how much money we can make!! You may have been a nerd ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚, but look at you now!! Thank you for your transparency and genuine caring attitude for people!!๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ

  23. I think the most important things to focus on with affiliate marketing are authenticity and authority. When I write reviews, Iโ€™ll have some things I like, that will sell, and some things that I donโ€™t like, that people wonโ€™t click on. Sometimes, people even click on the things I said I didnโ€™t like and buy them anyways. Either way, I appreciate it when people read my stuff or click my links. So, putting the customer/ reader first is important, and it happens naturally when Iโ€™m honest with my reviews and add them to my blog, where I already have authority on the subject.

  24. I agree with you Roberto! I was going to find affiliates in personal development and coaching, since that is what I am knowledgeable on and passionate about ๐Ÿ‘

  25. Hay it was Nice to see you at Vidsummit I didnt have the Emotional bandwidth to tell you just how much you have helped me.

Like I just got texted that I was fired* by my main Sponsor/job it was a weird combo of job and colab.

Anyway Without you RIGHT now In
    would be freaking out Ib
would be in trouble. Instead I have jobs lined up plus past work checks coming in. THAT SIDE HUSTLE is going to make it okay…

Now the issue with the sponsor is actually going to be better as I am no longer bound by their rules.

LIKE not to compete in their niche… it's been A hard year working with them. It's like being shoved in a Box and put on a Shelf.

  26. As a long-time sub and believer in your content, I want to share with you that I found interestingly many typos in your overlays 0:33 within the last few videos. Is it due to a new editor? Or do you still cut and edit yourself? As always, the content is great!

  27. #QOTD How Are You Going to ADD VALUE to Your Audience?

I am finding that I suggest products ( apps for mobile devices, especially business orientated, as this is something I know about) on social media and my decision to showcase my knowledge here on Youtube as a resource..

    But suggesting is not enough. I can certainly suggest many apps to people as I know specific products will help in providing a solution to their problem. But this is really hit or miss for many reasons, mostly;

    – Almost all viewers or subscribers don't know what I can offer
    – Therefore most viewers do not know who I am.
    – Also if I am unknown, it is certainly unknown in how I can help or provide value

So, I can change this by providing how-to's on apps and showcasing (showing real world problems solved) how these apps can solve viewers problems, is where I shall build my value proposition over time.

By understanding the problems people have with apps and providing helpful guides, how-to's and solutions this will benefit me with affiliate marketing in the future (as a long term proposition) but also makes me realize that I need to suggest less and understand the products I use and provide information on (much more self education). By knowing products (apps) better than most, this is how I will be able to provide value and people will see me as a resource to help provide solutions to their problems.

Trust is earned by people understanding I know the products I talk about and how I can provide value with my education.

Your videos (including this one) and from Sunny Lenarduzzi, Brian G Johnson, Nick & Dee Nimmin, Brian Fanzo, Pat Flynn, Chris Ducker and Amy Landino, help ME learn about social, persaonal branding, Youtube and affiliate marketing

  28. Solid video. And so true. The biggest question I have is my best affiliate marketing income comes from a company where the videos I make on them barley get viewed. But the income is WAY high compared to anything else. Does it make sense for me to still focus on those videos even though they're not getting viewed? Or at least sprinkle them into the current videos I'm making?

  29. I got kicked out of the affiliate program for no results so I think itโ€™s back to the drawing board with your suggestions! Thanks Roberto!

  30. "Lead with Value for Them First" ! selling by making the sale "about them, what is the best thing for the person, not selling what will make you the most commision.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Š

  31. Always great to wake up a ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ video to help motivate and realign your approach. I do suck with affiliate marketing and These tips were helpful. Leveraging your knowledge from your own personal purchases and from using the actual products adds value and makes a ton of sense.

  32. Yeah that is one thing that I really need to step up my game on. I am not delivering for my audience the way that I need to.

  33. I'm trying to start my affiliate marketing. I'm trying to get my gaming blog going and also add reviews on gaming products that I reccomend and post the affiliate links. I guess my website would be a start

  34. Another great video with helpful insights. Thank for continuing to share sage wisdom with no fluff.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸพโœŒ๐Ÿพ

  35. Hi Roberto. Gotta say it – you have an unusually clear way of articulating the essence of the topic. Nicely done, very nicely done.

  36. Thank You so much for taking the time to make this video. It is always nice getting tips and tricks on Affiliate Marketing because it has proven to be much more efficient than Adsense. One of the issues I have is I feel pushy or "salesy" when I try to mention the links down below. I know I need to stop caring what people think and just do it but it takes time to build confidence.

  37. Roberto, another goldmine hit! I've been seeing lots of affiliate marketing videos on YT but no one provides this level of insight!

  38. Some people are for the money ๐Ÿ’ท.. It's all about values first like knowing exactly what the people needs and reaching out genuinely… Awesome video
    Thanks for this amazing tips

  39. โ€‹โ€‹cnvert.com/how-you-get-more-google-reviews-to-drive-web-traffic/ An website for our product, that basically give you tips on how to advertise online, and how to best utilize your money.

  40. Someways I can add value to my audience is to try to know my audience more. I will do as much as I can (within my videos) to communicate with my audience in a way that will want them wanting more content from me. In order to do all of this, I will have to make content that is within my niche that my audience will find my content interesting to their ears. And SHOW effort in my content and communicate with them on social media to build trust and loyalty.

  41. I agree with you! I am not Affiliates anywhere but I have red a lot of books and some of them might help others. Maybe I should talk about them?
